FAQ

Omoggle Face Battle FAQ

Answers about face-rating battles, browser-local photo handling, face detection, scoring, and exports.

What is Omoggle Face Battle?

Omoggle Face Battle is a browser-local tool for comparing two uploaded photos in an Omoggle-style face-off. It detects face landmarks, draws the green mesh, generates two face-rating scores, and shows WIN, LOST, or DRAW.

Is this a face-rating tool?

Yes. It is built for shareable face-rating and mogging-style reports, including 1v1 mog-off screenshots. Treat the scores as entertainment and presentation, not a scientific or official record.

Is this facial recognition?

No. The browser detects face landmarks for mesh placement and scoring geometry. It does not identify a person, match a face to an account, or compare photos against a remote identity database.

Do my photos leave the browser?

No. The upload zones create temporary local object URLs, and face detection plus scoring run in your browser. Export only creates a shareable result image when you choose to use it.

How does the scoring work?

Battle scoring reads face-landmark geometry such as symmetry, eye spacing, face proportion, nose and mouth alignment, jaw-to-mouth balance, and canthal tilt. A tiny deterministic adjustment keeps the same detected face stable across repeat battles.

Why did a photo fail face detection?

The detector needs one clear front-facing face. Strong side angles, covered eyes, low light, heavy blur, tiny faces, or multiple faces can prevent the green mesh from locking on.

Is this official Omoggle scoring?

No. Omoggle Face Battle and Omoggle Face Battle Generator are independent tools and are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or connected to Omoggle. The Battle score is a local presentation score for shareable face-offs.
